If lots of memory is needed, options are the large memory nodes or flashlite.

  • Special compute "big memory" nodes will go to ~900GB (virtualized)
  • Flashlite physical nodes go to 512GB (non-virtualized)
  • Using vSMP, multiple Flashlite nodes can be stitched together to form a "supernode" with up to 8TB.

Bunya

More info here

  • QCIF purchased a small share of the Bunya supercomputer for its partners and subscribers.
  • The ability for QCIF members and users from the partner community to login has now been put in place

Please follow the link to "register to use Awoonga" "Bunya access application form"

Via the use of AAF and the QCIF service authenticator/OTP (OAUTH) provider, QCIF members and partners can now login and use Bunya once they've gone through the appropriate account setup process.

Flashlite

This is a large memory node. Flashlite physical nodes go to 512GB (non-virtualized)
