X2Go client installation

There are a few tools available to connect to the Desktop of the Griffith HPC head node. Here, an example is provide on how to use X2Go client to connect to the Desktop.

Configuration for Griffith HPC

Click on "New Session" icon and fill in the following details:

Session Name: gowonda (or n060 or whatever name of the host)

Host: gowonda.rcs.griffith.edu.au (or n060.rcs.griffith.edu.au)

login: your snumber

Session Type: gnome (for n060, please use: XFCE)

Connect to the Desktop with this connection.
